Poetry Video: the giant by Kate Greenstreet

Poets are getting more creative in how we promote ourselves. I’m glad to see it. I think this is going to be something we see more and more of in the future. Kate Greenstreet has moved us forward into the 21st century with this poetry video. I see these efforts only getting better:

    Hi,

I wanted to comment on different ways poets can promote themselves with different technology. Poem Flow has launched a valentine’s day contest at http://www.poemflow.com/valentines and poets can pick their favorite poem and then customize the flow. Check it out and let me know what you think! You could always win a dozen roses!

Great video. I really enjoy spoken word pieces like this, set to photos and graphics. It gives poetry a new dimension, fitting for the technological age. I’ve just launched a section for YouTube video poetry on my website (online poetry community) here: Spoken Word Poetry Videos at DU Poetry. Feedback gratefully received.
